About Me

Hey, I'm Valerie Van Aalst, I was born and raised in Puerto Rico (a small island in the Caribbean Sea) and I love it! Living here has given me an amazing color palette to work with and it inspires me on a daily basis. I'm a self taught jeweler and I use many techniques as a form of expression. I believe in the beauty and art of design, and I love being able to create pieces that make you feel identified. 

Van Aalst designs started in November 2019 as a side hustle and shortly after as we all know the pandemic hit. All the extra time led me to dive in fully into my creations, and since then this little biz has grown beyond belief! My goal is   to capture beauty, elegance, color and many forms of nature through my jewelry and it is my absolute honor to design for you all, I'm eternally grateful for your support!
